A Week of Lasts

It’s been a bittersweet week of ‘lasts’ here in Melbourne – last day of work, last walk through leafy Fitzroy, last açai bowl, last run along the Yarra River with the most stunning view over the city. I’ve always been a real homebody, and now that I’ve made my home here, I’m not going to lie… it’s very hard to leave. I’m not sure I’ll ever completely feel at home in one place again because a piece of my heart will always be in Melbourne/London. But I’m so grateful for the people I’ve met and experiences I’ve been lucky to have.

After 2 solid weeks of packing up a flat whilst working full time and having some very fun goodbye parties, I’m feeling more ready to get on the plane and resettle somewhere. I’m just about ready to face the cold! With one day left in Melbourne we’re going to soak up the sun (37*C today!), spend one last evening with friends and a day with family, before jumping on that 25 journey. I hope there are some good movies!

Please hit me up with your London must-dos – where is the best coffee, the secret places to explore, and the best walks? I’m looking forward to rediscovering it all.
