My name is Polly and I am a twenty-something Londoner currently living in South-West London with my Aussie fiancé.
This blog is a culmination of everything I love – interior and design inspiration, travel, the better moments of day to day live, and design creations of my own. I studied textile design for interiors in the beautiful city of Bath, graduating in 2013. I still dabble in illustration and print design, some of which you can buy here.
In 2015 I moved to Melbourne, Australia for 2 years and fell in love with the city. I returned in 2017 to be with family and to marry the love of my life. I feel happiest when in the sun and outside in the fresh air, and exploring new places is my favourite thing to do. It is true that the hardest thing about living abroad is that part of your heart will always be elsewhere and I know I’ll never completely feel at home in one place again.
I love going out for breakfast, styling interiors, hikes in the countryside, cooking up gluten free creations, and long distance running. During the day, I work in social media and content for an interior design company.
A few things I love: avocados, fresh sheets, swimming in the sea, espresso martinis, Summer, picnics, people watching on the tram, and Magnum ice creams.
A few things I don’t love: Walking on escalators which aren’t moving, parsnips, heights, running in sandals, dishonesty, crowds, and opening a Magnum ice cream to discover it’s cracked.
