HOW TO: Reuse a candle jar

Like most bloggers I am a little bit obsessed with candles. My favourite one, Orange Grove from the White Company, ran out recently and, as I like the chunky glass jar, I decided to turn it into a holder for mascaras, brushes, eyeliners, and the like.

To get rid of the wax, it’s easiest to burn it down as much as you can, then carefully tip the remaining liquid hot wax out. Pour (almost) boiling water into the glass and pour out. Use paper kitchen towel to carefully wipe the residue off the inside of the glass and there you have it! I think it would be nice to have a little collection of candles as storage.

What are your favourite candle flavours? I am currently burning Winter Berry and Black Tea from Muji which is super Christmassy!
