IBIZA

Last week I took a trip to Ibiza with a girlfriend and wow I wish I was still there. Neither of us had ever been there before and I was amazed at how beautiful it was. We spent most of our days soaking up the sun on the small beach where we were staying near the bay of San Antonio, or Cala Tarida, reading our books and taking dips in the sea. I read The Fault in Our Stars while we were there and was left sobbing on the beach near the end! I highly recommend it though.
Our hardest decision each day was what flavour of Magnum to choose (those flavours defo trump English ones) or which beach bar to eat supper at (the same one every day of course). We took a beautiful evening trip to Ibiza Old Town for a special dinner with rose sangria – who knew this existed?! – and some wandering around the markets to buy homemade jewellery.
It wouldn’t be Ibiza without partying. The best night was at Ushuaia which we followed up with a late night in Sankeys which had a fab outside terrace. We also loved the Ocean Beach Club for an all day pool party. So much fun. It’s pretty difficult this week waking up at the same time we were going to bed last week. It was a much needed refreshment though, and at least it’s hot and sunny in London this week.

Have you planned any exciting holiday destinations this Summer?

I'll be going to Spain in September and I was tossing up between Ibiza or Mallorca. I ended up going for Mallorca. Only because I'm not keen on the parties. Although, heaps of bloggers have been jetting off there and your pictures look amazing; kind of makes me worried that I didn't pick the right one!!

      Hi Olivia,
I went to Mallorca as a child and it's equally beautiful – stunning beaches, rocky coves, and brilliant for snorkelling. You'll have a wonderful time! (Plus there's always next year to visit Ibiza 😉 )
      xx
