5 Happy Things

1. Banana and chocolate muffins (gluten free)
I added ground flaxseed for extra healthiness and they are scrummy.

2. Wholefoods goodies
I love the packaging on this but it tastes revolting! Stocked up on other yummy treats and had a lovely lunch with a good friend though.

3.  A little trip to SPACENK…

4. Painting my nails in ‘Moss’
(very messily – I’ve never been one for manicures!)

5. A new read
I am yet to finish my current book but I’m eager to hide under my duvet and get stuck into this
It’s been a tough week so I’m trying to appreciate the little things. The everyday things that don’t cost too much money (apart from that darn bronzer!)
Not pictured: movies with family, drinks at the pub with friends, long phone calls, hugs, open fires.
What are your favourite pick-me-ups?

It's so great to stop and appreciate the little things that cheer us up, especially at this drab and dreary time of year. I love snuggly blankets, a good cup of tea, a great book, listening to the wind howling outside, a cosy nap and cuddles with my gorgeous new baby.

Oh, that book's supposed to be a good one. I'm liking the nail colour too – I'm a sucker for short dark nails. Ditto food packaging… trips to oriental supermarkets are lethal!

Yum, those muffins looks delicious and I am totally smitten with your nail polish colour:) The whole list is great. One of my favourite pick-me-up is coffee with extra cream or Norah Jones and a good book in a tub after a long day:) I so want to read this one. xoxo
