My parents, brother, boyfriend and I drove to my Grandparents’ in Kent on Saturday for our annual apple picking to make juice and cider. We went later in the year than usual but although it rained on the drive there and back, we managed to avoid it all day and the sun even came out for us! We picked hundreds of apples and now have them coming out of our ears at home. As well as tubs of cider bubbling away and bottles of juice for drinking. The countryside is so beautiful this time of year.
This is one of my favourite family traditions – we’ve been doing this for about eight years now. What is yours?
