As I mentioned in my last post, I was recently given an iPad Mini as a present. The first few days I had it I was carefully carrying it around, terrified of scratching it or dropping it. I searched for ages for a perfect case which would protect it as well as look nice, but I found that there is a lack of choice of cases for a Mini. So when Snugg kindly offered to send me one of theirs to try out, I was very happy! Here’s an honest review of the Snugg case…
Although I usually love a bit of colour, I went for the black leather case as I thought it would be nice and smart. I’m really pleased with the quality, and the stitch around the outside adds a bit of detail. The magnet on the side turns the iPad to sleep when closed, saving the battery life.
The iPad is held in place securely with hidden velcro, and it opens like a book and folds around, making it easy to use. The soft nubuck on the inside has saved my worries of the screen getting scratched up.
Thought has gone into every detail, making sure that there are holes in the leather for the cameras on both sides.
Here is Alex modelling the handle which makes it more secure to hold. I imagine this would be really handy if you wanted to make sure your kids didn’t drop it.
And this is how I now catch up on my blog reading during breakfast…
Finally, I think the most important thing for me was being able to chuck it into my handbag with all the other junk in there (trust me, the inside of my bag is a total mess). The Snugg case really protects it from getting damaged. I’ve now gone to basically throwing my iPad around and it’s survived everything so far! I would recommend this case (I now want it in another colour!) and you’re lucky it’s on sale from £40 to £25 at the moment! Check it out… They also do accessories for other tablets, Kindles, and smartphones.
