Thankfully, the next two days we had in Milan were more sunny and without rain! We went to the Duomo Cathedral, then the beautiful Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, the oldest shopping mall in all of Italy. Here there is a mosaic of a bull, and there is a tradition to swivel your heel around the bull’s genitals for good luck! There is even a hole in the ground where this has been done so many times (of course we had to join in the fun).
We also went shopping along Corso Buenos Aires (which was a bit more affordable) visited the castle, and rode some bikes! In the evenings the thing to do in Milan seems to be to pay nine euros for a cocktail and buffet, and then people stay and drink through the evening. We went to Spritz, which had delicious food and amazing cocktails. We even had Nutella pizza (the tub of Nutella that they had was bigger than my head!)
If you need any other recommendations for Milan let me know! It is a beautiful city to explore.
