I started uploading some photos from Milan then quickly realised that I had too many photos that I wanted to share with you. So I’ve split it with our day trip to Lake Como.
It was a bit of a shame that it was a misty, rainy day. Although it was absolutely beautiful, Alex and I could tell that in the sun it would have been even more stunning. But this didn’t stop us having an amazing time! We caught the train from Milano Centrale (which by the way, is the most stunning station I’ve ever been to) to Varenna, spotting beautiful views of the lakes along the way. We then caught the boat to Bellagio, which was such a cute little town.
We had a delicious little wine tasting session of local wines (and loved that in Italy, they bring you tapas like olives or crisps with your drinks), had a wander around some pretty shops and streets, had the best coffee we have ever tasted, and had a gorgeous lunch here. I highly recommend Lake Como and Bellagio – I would definitely go back, and hopefully in the sun next time!
What are you doing this weekend? My Dad, brother, sister, and I are doing our Padi diving course as we are planning on going scuba diving in Zanzibar this July. I am really excited to do something a bit different! I might pop to the Blogger Bake Sale on Saturday afternoon if I have time, and then seeing friends and family for drinks during the evening. Are any of you going to the bake sale?
