Easter with Liberty of London

Liberty generously sent me a lovely little pile of beautiful fabrics recently. They are so pretty, floral, and Spring-like that I thought they would be perfect to create something Easter themed.
So voila – fabric covered eggs!
Here’s what you’ll need…
– Pretty fabrics
– Individually wrapped chocolate eggs (could also used blown eggs, but it’s always more fun when chocolate is involved)
– Ribbon or some attractive string (mine is bakers’ twine, courtesy of the gorgeous shop Papermash)

Cut a small square of your fabric, scoop it up around your egg and secure with your string. Twine is great as it doesn’t slip as much as ribbon.

A very simple but effective way to decorate your home over Easter.

They would make lovely individual place settings at the table on Easter Sunday. Or favours for your Easter party.

Or do what I’m going to do… fill a decorative bowl with them and admire until Easter Sunday when they’re ready to be unwrapped and munched!

Enjoy, and Happy Easter xo
